also announced and/or rumour that Gone with the Wind will be a 3D too, just to mess with classics perfect as that, lol

Really? 3D? Come now, why mess with a classic? Sigh.

I have to agree, I can't see any real benefit converting older films like this. They were never meant to be seen in 3D. New releases are fine but for older titles like this it is pointless IMO and just done to milk consumers.

They will certainly milk me!

More 3d content is always good and luckily consumers have the choice whether to purchase it or not. Don't see how converting an older film to 3d is any different to converting any other film to 3d.

I want to wait for the reviews but on the flip side don't want to miss out on that beautiful slip cover.

Has anyone obtained any details as to if the Blu Ray has been further cleaned up from the release a few years ago ? Hard to see how 3D will add anything.

I picked this up at Best Buy, and guess what, they had a Steel Book version :D

come back to this thread over the weekend, I will let you know how the 3D version of this movie is ;)

ok,
watched this in 3D on my 80" Vizio, lol. I loved it , 3D was awesome, nothing eyepopping but depth perception was nice.

the only thing that I didn't realize until I hit play was that it is not in 16x9 format lol,
still loved it :)

Did anyone here get to see this in IMAX IMAX made the whole 3d sensation work better and I don't think even though I bought the 3d bluray that the 3d will look as good on any tv even a 200 inch tv to me I think personally the 3d in the little mermaid works better because the 3d can work well on any size tv even a 24 inch and yes I have compared the two on a tv that size
