Sorry fellas. I am confused with the finishing on this and the FNAC SB.

HMV UK - Embossing, spot gloss on WW title and satin finish or something similar to the Zavvi Marvel Lenticular Steels
FNAC FR - No embossing, spot gloss on XXX and YYY and satin finish or something similar to the Zavvi Marvel Lenticular Steels

No HMV has a quality zero finish with spot gloss on the logo. Also has metallic effect on her wrists.

Was thinking of getting this but my wallet needs to breathe so what is the possibility of this one surviving a price drop? Does anyone know the print run?

Similar to gaeljet's post above but worth posting again, I feel.

Yup, it's a tricky one as both have plus and minus points . . . and even with a gun to my head I'd hesitate . . . but would probably choose the FNAC if only for the better, warmer more natural skin tones and the warmer colours on the back.

On the HMV (International) poor ol' WW looks a bit jaundiced (in that light) and that framed border serves no useful purpose cutting through her tiara (embossed WW logo can certainly be embossed without the need for a framing border).

Now, if she herself was embossed/part of the frame in the latest CIVIL WAR steelbook style with just the small areas on either side of her head and just above her shoulders de-bossed, then I'd say the HMV would be the one I'd choose (of these two).

Haters of the Zero finish can easily see the difference between the finish and the Matte finish which, in spite of the spot-glossing of her bronze bits and pieces, looks very different especially the colours.

Another to add to the Matte vs. Zero pics (lol).

Finally a just comparison! The colors much much better on FNAC and no disturbing border. Plus full package make this steelbook a winner. Embossing on HMV can be nice for some people, but for me I must admit Im getting tired of these embossed matte steelbooks with border.

Is it me or is the Logo not centered probably below the Wonder woman title on the FNAC version?

No, it's not you . . . the symbol is a couple of mms to the left when compared to the HMV . . . although to my untrained eye the FNAC is perfectly central and the HMV is a smidgeon too far to the right.

As for the position of the symbol and the title: its too low on the FNAC and covering her boobies on the HMV . . . looks like one can't win.

Of course it doesn't help that WW herself is wonky thus drawing more attention to the symbol which really isn't.

Original posters showing the correct colour grading for the front image (as seen on the FNAC) . . . FMAC back image also more closely resembling the original poster colours than the HMV . . . except for the sky which is less blue on the FNAC than it should be:-
