This will have debossing and spot gloss with metallic shine on her tiara and bracelets. unless steelbook.com have got it wrong again.

Totally agree...Warner should spend the extra 1 Euro for a gloss finish to make the colours POP
Good to now see this is the art we're getting. So happy we're not getting that sh*tty US artwork after all. This would be absolutely grand if gloss as I too think the colours would be so much vibrant in hand. However we know it isn't so that will be that. Just hope that spot gloss does lift if from a bland matte finish.
It's usually really good. So slow today thoughHMV's site is just awful...Pages just hang and been like that for ages
I'm going to order laters...I was waiting up for the artwork reveal. I guess the site is getting hammered at the moment with this and Atomic Blonde orders
Unfortuantely it's seems to be the title that will be spot glossed which is as thin as ghost in the shells. Such a shame and waste.
I'm in the wrong place to have my Ghost in the Shell in hand today to see them effects. Will have it on Monday though to appreciate the sparing application of gloss. Absolutely agree with you that this choice is a shame and waste. Could have been something else entirely.
personally like the art, sounds like this may be my second steel to get the home gloss treatment.
