I love HDZeta and their one click releases but right now I'm more excited about what Manta Lab are going to do for this film

Just curious... there are people out there who always go for Full Slips and don't care for Lentis... what is it that people dislike about them?

I know that in the case of Kimchi and others the Lentis are often O-rings and people prefer a proper Full Slip but I'm just wonder what there is to dislike. Do people who dislike 3D also dislike Lentis? That's why the two go hand in hand for me!

Well, there are allways Lovers and Haters for everything, also some made their direction in the past and so they like to have an sort of equality in their collection. In case of HDzeta the problem was the loose Lentis, but this will switch to magnetic Lentis soon what I think is a perfect step. Don't know if this allready will happen for WW but I take also the loose. For me I can say I prefer Lenti but also like Fullslips if they have an good artwork and finish.
Furthermore I can say I also would like to see a general reduction to less versions instead of triple or more in the future...there are to many premium releases and to to many premium releases of same titel from different companys. As a collector its somehow impossible to collect them all. As example I really hope the Batman trilogy will come as trilogy and not as triple trilogy, or I have LOGAN editions from Fac, Kimchi and Manta so 9 in total +german steelbook + ugly looser Mediabook from Filmarena. Thats crazy, so decision must be made to reduce it.

Usually, I like full slips better than lenti slips. I'm always fascinated by the finishing techniques in a "regular" full slip, like embossing, spot gloss, texturing ... you name it. Lenticulars, on the other hand, don't offer such a haptic surface feel/feedback. Mostly there's some of this kind of finishing on the back side of a lenti slip, but that's just not cutting it. Also and most important to me: Even though there're some lentis with good sharpness, you'll never get as sharp and detailed a picture as in a regular print (on a full slip). Furthermore the movement in a lenti picture is distracting sometimes and in a few cases, the picture doesn't even show properly, no matter the position you hold the lenti in.
In conclusion I prefer the static, highly detailed and specially treated image on a full slip over the dynamic and "moving" lenticular. But as always there're exceptions from this rule. The KimchiDVD The Martian lenticular slip blew me away, while the full slip didn't quite have this wow-factor, even though it has a very detailed and nice finish. So I do care about lentis, too. But I'm always looking at the full slip as my first option.

Awesome responses to my query about the love/ hate of Lentis v Full Slips, thanks! I recently acquired my first HD Zeta (Batman v Superman Double Lenti) and didnt even know the Lenti is “loose” because I didn’t open it! That’s good to know because I plan to pick up How To Train Your Dragon, Mad Max, and Wonder Woman very soon and didn’t know that was a “thing”. If you keep it sealed I suppose that’s not an issue but can see it being a much bigger deal if you do. I suppose I’ll always be a sucker for anything 3D whether its 3D movies or Lentis but I have started purchasing more Full slips lately because all of Blufans recent Full Slips have been so awesome. I always like to hear others perspectives because it usually ends up broadening mine! :)

BvS isn't a loose lenti FYI

I thought HDZeta Exclusives don't have loose Lentis ;)

Am I right in thinking that the earlier 'Gold' labels were loose lentis (Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan), but now the gold label WEA are not loose lenti's, it's only the silver label WWA releases that are loose lentis?

The only way to fully appreciate a full or lenti is to open it up. I prefer fullslips as I'm more of a texture kind of guy...However, Blufans / HDZeta do consistently stonking lentis

but imagine with a loose or magnetic lenti you have both: a lovely Fullslip (as under the lenti is a artwork print) and the Lenti version in one.
For the HDzeta silver label this is perfect.
For the HDzeta gold label or Kimchi, Manta, fac etc why not consider less versions with magnetic lentis for some movies.
but in case of Wonder Woman please as much versions as possible.:D
