The main issue here was the time the GB went live.
It was not fair to go live hour early,

Also there should be no VIP access for limited GB like this.
If the allocation is very limited it should be given to all to access fair.

WOW! I can see this has been one hell of a heated GB, so glad I chose to go with Manta, think my blood pressure would rise dramatically if I went for this one!

Really on the fence on this whole premium membership GB thingy.

On the one hand, I see @Actarus point, not sure about the premium members being true members comment though, plenty of non premium members here greatly contribute to the site so I think it would be unfair to discriminate against them. I'm only a premium member because I won a competition, which I'm grateful for, but if I wasn't, I feel that I have contributed for the 4 years I've been on the site, and have spent a LOT of money on GBs and many other non premium members have too. So I think that's a tough one to give premium members preferential treatment.

That being said, @Actarus is on to something, there are some new members & long existing members who are non premium who do seem to just lurk for the GBs only and never really contribute to the forums at all and you can bet that some, not all, are on a scalp. I don't want to get into the whole scalping thing, it's been done to death now, but we all know it happens.

Maybe the best solution is........ just to leave it alone how it is. To me it's part of the collecting game, you win some and you lose some. Thrill of the chase and all that.

Besides, do people really want to end up broke, this games getting expensive!


If a preferential system is to be put in place, I'm sure HDN would find a way to make a fair go at it for everyone, I'm sure the guys would be able to see on the background of all members both premium and non premium who contribute to the site, both in money terms and general input.

Was the box set actually available consistently for that entire time? I thought it went out of stock but then came back for a few minutes and then was out of stock again.

All options have been reported going in and out of stock on HDZeta's site. I saw the box go in and out of stock. It came in stock around 45 min/an hour after the GB went live early then out shortly after.

Current system is fine. The problem is saying one time and starting it at a different time. You win so you lose some but when you lose at least let it be loosing fair and square

Not trying to get your hopes up. I actually doubt it would still be lingering there after so much time but I still felt compelled to ask you to give it a shot. Go to HDzeta's website and login to your account and click on the "My Account" tab and see if perhaps you order is still there awaiting payment. As I said, it will probably turn up empty but figured you have nothing to lose.

I was here at the time the GB was "supposed" to start and got shut out. People were ordering from the website which wouldn't load for me. I was on the product page but everything was half loaded including the "add to cart" button. Pretty frustrating.

I just have to say that I am still EXTREMELY SALTY. I woke up 3 hours before I normally do only to find out it started an hour before. I know blaming anyone doesn't do anything, but whoever may be responsible for making a bad decision today should really reflect and do what they can to avoid a disaster like this in the future. How was server maintenance going on at the exact time that a release was happening? Shouldn't there be somebody ensuring these two things don't conflict? A rescheduled release date/group buy would have been a far better option if this was unavoidable. Yeah there may still be
