Originally didn't mind this design but it looks crap in all the pics.

Looks like it has the classic WB streaky matte finish

I own the real thing and as far as I can tell your description is way off as you are basing it off some low res photos here. The finish is better than most matte steelbooks and the artwork is definitely not grainy. This is better than your average crap.

My copy arrived in perfect condition yesterday; I'm glad they used double bubble envelopes. Not only that, but I also got $5 off due to price guarantee, nice!

Do you own the actual steelbook? The artwork is definitely not grainy.

I don't own it. I'm only going off the pics but every pic on here makes it look grainy to me. The first pic Tristar6 posted above makes Gal's face look about 65 especially when you look at the title which is much sharper. If it's better in hand then fair enough, I'd hope that it would be.

I like the art but a it's a Warner release I didn't expect a lot from it.

I assure you it is better than what most of the photos show. The finish though not glossy has some gloss to it. Better than zero finish. I usually custom gloss all my matte steelbooks but in this case, I did not, as I felt there is no need to custom gloss it.

I'm glad you said this, because I was considering glossing my copy when it comes in. Assuming the Italian version is same as the Aussie one, of course.

side note: nice little added feature to this was that the included blu-ray wasn't region locked (so I was able to watch it easily on my standard setup).
