Oof. Did anyone involved actually read the novel? Wow, this misses the mark in so many ways. Emily Brontë must be spinning in her grave.

Looks like it was made for the Influencer Generation.

I'll try and fit this movie in between my Brazilian butt lift and the fat grafting cheek implants.

I don’t think it’s being shy about this being exactly what it is and I’m here for it tbh.

saw this last night and again it only does half the book which is fine but while I enjoyed it ,didn’t love it. Some of the sets and production design reminded me of Ken Russell . Performances better than expected from some, never expected Martin clunes to be so good. Leads accents sometimes went a bit all over the place. Loved the soundtrack. 6 out of 10 from me.

Watched this last night. Absolutely loved it, the acting is surprisingly good, the camera work is superb (can't wait to see what this guy does on Dune 3), the sets are incredible and the soundtrack (+ sound design) is beautiful. I really don't understand all the bad reviews this received, it's just a really well crafted film. Not the deepest you'll ever see, far from it, but nonetheless one of the best I've seen so far this year personally.
