4K disc works fine. Haven’t tried the Blu ray
Sorry, I may have misread your post - perhaps you already checked the 4K UHD disc in a region A player?
Yeah didn’t realise that so maybe there is an issueI probably should have mentioned that this person is in the U.S. so most likely means locked to region "B".
I don't have a 4K player or a region free player so I don't know what such a player shows to indicate the region of the disc.
Can you please explain what your 4K player shows or how it indicates that the 4K disc is indeed region free and not just locked to region "B"?
Thanks in advance.
In that case, you have a region B player.I’ve checked the 4K disc yeah but it’s not a region A player as far as I'm aware. I can’t play locked region Blu Ray discs. Just region B.
Sorry I’m being a mong too. I know it’s not a region A player. I’m not sure why I said “as far as I’m aware”In that case, you have a region B player.
As far as I'm aware, a multi-region Blu-ray player with hardware mod to support switching between regions, always needs manual switching (typically via the remote) from one region to another.
This behaviour is different from multi-region DVD players which "just work" regardless of the disc region.
Can never tell. Things like hereditary was out straight away but green knight a year later. Plus distributors In other countries change for the all the A24 films from film to film all the time. Can never tell unfortunatelyUk will start getting some of these A24s right? Like I want everything everywhere all at once but I heard the German mediabook version is super dark.
The UK is shafted time after time when it comes to not getting 4k releases...Uk will start getting some of these A24s right?
Yeah it's annoying. But everything everywhere is one I really really want. How bad is the German 4k with the mediabook? The UK is shafted time after time when it comes to not getting 4k releases...
Lamb, Men, Midsommar, X, Hereditary, Everything everywhere all at once, and that's just the A24 releases...
No idea but, apparently if you order direct from Leonine now you get the corrected disc...Yeah it's annoying. But everything everywhere is one I really really want. How bad is the German 4k with the mediabook?
Read a post from somebody on another site who just received this and says both discs are region locked.
Any other opinions?

That's because most DVDs accepted R0 setting, but there were some RCE discs, mostly R1 from Columbia and Warner, that required R1 to be set on the player. I had a manual setting ability to go around that, but such discs wouldn't have worked on basic R0 multiregion players. This behaviour is different from multi-region DVD players which "just work" regardless of the disc region.
I'm leaning more and more towards one of the mediabook... just need to decide which of the two to get!Received my copy and it's a nice addition but the media books are the winner imo.
i have both mediabooks and prefer the black one, spot gloss on the x.I'm leaning more and more towards one of the mediabook... just need to decide which of the two to get!
I think that's the one I'm swaying more towards at the moment... artwork works better all round. Although I do love that front art on the other one!i have both mediabooks and prefer the black one, spot gloss on the x.
other one has a great front artwork, but the back is meh :/I think that's the one I'm swaying more towards at the moment... artwork works better all round. Although I do love that front art on the other one!
