I think I'm done with pre-ordering the HMV exclusives. They never instantly sell out ever any way? I'll wait to see how they look on here before I pre-order from now on. I've pre-ordered three, and out of the three, none were spectacular - Edge of Tomorrow was good, but not ground breaking, Godzilla… I actually prefer the slip… and X-Men… I should have gone with the amazon digibook!

I don't expect much from Dawn of the Apes - luckily I didn't pre-ordered that.

Which are the HMV exclusives in that past that have been worth getting? Besides Drive of course.

I wouldnt say its beautiful, and definatley not of the year, but Malificent however is my number 1 beauty of the year.

In my opinion: Thor / Drive / Riddick / Red2 / Enders Game / The Green Hornet /Touch of Evil / POP / True Grit.

Got my brother to pick this up for me when he was in Edinburgh yesterday. He managed to choose a pretty good copy, it has a couple hairline scratches in the top right corner but they can only be seen when doing the light test so I'm not too upset about that.

This is actually one of my favourite steels of recent times, the gloss finish looks cracking on it.

Not sure whether to bother trying to pick up another or just leave it as there's bound to be another Steelbook when the Directors Cut is released next year

Mine has a huge dent on the bottom at the back and bottom.
I dont think I have the energy at the moment to go back to the store. Doubt they got any left by now either!

I would not accept the damaged steelbook, HMV have been real sloppy with this release, maybe open the next one in store or get a voucher refund. We don't know for sure if there will be another release, you could be spending considerably more to get another steelbook, if that's the case.

Found a hell of a deal in HMV yesterday, found this and Dawn of the planet of the apes steels £15.99 each or 2 for £25, had to get both at that deal think they were the last 2, could not believe my luck!

Somewhat cheesed off that both this and Apes are 2 for £25, Apes was only out last month!.... :/
