Just came home to find this waiting! Box was smashed in pretty bad, but Kimchi's awesome bubble wrapping kept the steel nice and minty! #414 - nice symmetrical number lol

I see everyone is showing off their X-MEN "Days of Future Past" steel collections.Very impressive. However, there seems to be ONE missing. It's the ______ release!
More than anything, that seems to be one to really hunt for.I think just about every "regular" member in this forum was able to get a copy of this great Kimchidvd release but the ______ is a true rarity.
Sure some will say that the slip isn't in their liking but that can be said about anything even the new Iron Man design introduced today and yet the numbers game is even being discussed.Look at the members noting the number they received. Its all about low...low... and more low numbers.Well the one that isn't included in these collections is extremely low. That is why I'm so intrigued about this missing piece in all of these photos.Somebody should be able to easily figure out which release is being mentioned...if any member wants to chime in.

My girlfriend finished at 9:02:22am
And got #021/700

I finished & got my paypal confirmation at 9:01:47am and got #269/700

Sold out at 9:03 am

So it seems low print numbers are given by random rather that First come - First serve. FYI

Thanks for the info! @NoDingsNoScratches
Retailers shut stop promise such a procedure if they dont do it. sucks..

Hey, is there any possibility that KimchiDVD would be willing to sell the Lenticular slipcover on its own. I'd pay a reasonable price for the Slip without having to shell out full price for a movie I already have. KimchiDVD makes excellent Lenticular Effect Slipcovers (Tangled, Frozen and now X-Men). I think that would make good cost-effective business without having to buy multiple steelbooks and copies of the same movie. Would it be worth it for fans or companies to sell slipcovers on their own?

I can sort of understand why one would want just the slipcover, but the slipcover (and the set of art cards) is what makes this release a special KimchiDVD release.

All my collector instincts are firmly against this idea. Absolutely No.

Were they shipped to seperate addresses? Coz if they were shipped to the same address they might just have got the orders reversed?

I love the slip and can't wait for mine to arrive. But I am not loving the finish on the steel....!! :wtf: Looks very streaky to me. :grumpy:

IMO the slip for that release was pretty boring. I'll take this over that any day of the week. :p

Someone is selling their copy of DoFP on eBay for £200...
Don't know what to make of this- Part of me think it's despicable to expose collectors (especially as the seller had the sole intention of buying the product just to make a profit, as it was one copy per customer...) but another part of me thinks at least now someone will be able to pick this up having missed out on it first time round.
If only I had nothing better to do with a spare £200...
