Guys, please keep accusations of hoarding, ongoing reseller chatter and sales out of our threads. This happens every time there is any discussion about limited copies of anything. No one has the right to tell anyone what to do with multiple copies. However, posting about this on an ongoing basis tends to make people aggravated because those wanting one for their own collection don't want to miss out because someone else is sitting on a pile of them. Our community has always aimed to be a friendly place for collectors to meet-thank you for helping us keep it that way.

I'm from the US and know the bulk of steelbook collectors are from the UK. Sometimes you got to do what's best for business and I'm ok with that. I'm excited that this release is soon no matter what time.

Contradictory statements.

I just asked tony to change pre order time from 10 AM to 1 AM

OP updated

Tony said too many UK customer sent complain mail about inconvenient pre order time.

So he changed mind.

But more importantly it sets a very bad precedence for future Kimchi preorders. If enough people complain, the time can be changed. If it is true that most steelbook collectors are from the UK does that mean all future preorders will be at UK friendly times?

Kimchidvd collection #2 will be more friendly to US & Asia customers.

Even number; USA & Asia.
Odd number: UK & EU.

That's what I discussed with Tony.

Kimchi should set the limit for post area codes ;) 1 each area :D
Most of scalpers made multiple account and call all friend to pre order high demand product.

Like Amazon.JP, people usually make multiple account to order more when amazon limit one per account.

Kimchidvd systems can not check postal code duplication.

All I know is I want this very badly and I will he hovering over the computer for the preorder live time so hopefully I will be able to aquire one

Thanks, hopefully this way makes it fairer for everyone overall - there's never a perfect time for everyone, but with any luck this should mean people aren't stuck being at work/getting up early/staying up late every single time

Too many region b releases from Zavvi for them to appeal to me. I work nights so the time for x-men is perfect and actually better since I'll be home.

What's the area code # you type in for US customers....is it 001 or + 1....cant remember...
Whenever they've shipped stuff to me they've never specified it in the way it was entered - for UK (+44/0044) they've always just put the format as: 44-0000-000000 for a number, so maybe just put 1?

I never ordered directly from Kimchi before. When you pre order do you pay right away or do they deduct the amount from your account once it's released and dispatched?

Payment is taken when you order, not on dispatch - considering with this one it's 2 days between pre-order and release it doesn't make much difference this time :)

@apsmith21 I cannot get email notifications for this thread, even after re-subscribing. It sucks because I don't want to miss out on that awesome lenticular.

Edit: now I am. But there are many more that I'm still not getting emails for. Maddening.
