Iv'e had the unhappy experience with Snowpiercer of sitting locked out of my account, unable to get in in
because of the pounding the server was taking, and imagining the Lenticular's flying out of the door.

You're not the only one. I'm always out the door at work at 5pm and it looks like I'll be staying behind to try and get this and I'll get some questions why I'm staying later. The things we do for our obsessions.

Thanks, hopefully this way makes it fairer for everyone overall - there's never a perfect time for everyone, but with any luck this should mean people aren't stuck being at work/getting up early/staying up late every single time

Oh I absolutely agree, I've got up at/stayed up to some pretty ridiculous times to pre-order stuff in the past, just nice that it hopefully means it's not going to be every time now.

@apsmith21 I cannot get email notifications for this thread, even after re-subscribing. It sucks because I don't want to miss out on that awesome lenticular.

Edit: now I am. But there are many more that I'm still not getting emails for. Maddening.

I have brought up an idea to the other admins about creating a service that will allow for members such as yourself to opt-in for an alert reminder about go-live times and updates for in demand titles like Kimchi.

This idea was first proposed by @Naughtius Maximus but will require someone to keep track manually, a list of all these items and send out pre-order alerts and "don't miss it" announcements.

The plan is go to work at 8am. Take an early lunch between 8:30-9:30. Hoping my order goes thru at 9 than go back to work.

Even though I work with a computer I trust my parents internet service more. Also the fact I have people looking over my shoulder is never a good thing.

My guess this will last roughly 10 mins....
