Can't quite see the lenticular effect. Any video clip or clearer pics?
According to a post on the German board there isn't much of a lenticular effect...just a little depth. Unfortunately nothing like the Lenti Slipcover from Kimchi...

I figured as much, but I still love having the lenti versions, whenever available. It certainly won't match Kimchi's lenti version, but this one is still a must have for me.
had this in hand at my local MM today- the lenti effect is very poor,almost no movement

Looks like it was a lenticular made just for the hell of it rather then a thought through design, such a shame

As long as the image is sharp and crisp, this will have a place in my collection.
Hmm, unsure about keeping my French preorder now? The dark colours look dull in matte. Shame they didn't go with the Professor X and Magneto art for the inside
Also, assuming this is the same as the French and HMV release why have the border if there's no embossing? Seems strange to just have it to accommodate the lenticular magnet for one country
It's like with all the other Lenticular-Editions at MediaMarkt and Saturn - it's just for the Lenticular-Magnets..
I really like the finish underneath the Magnets, always looks great at these steelbooks, but the X-Men seems way to dark to show this off. :/

I'm sorry for the poor quality of the pictures, they were made at home pretty late at my girlfriends house, just after i bought it.
It's definitely not worth €33.
If Zavvi unveiled this (with that cheap finish and that rubbish back artwork) and charged that amount, there would be war on here.
Even Alien vs Predator was glossy.
I guess we can have a good idea that the HMV one will be the same as this without the Lenti
€40 with shipping.
Reminds me why i gave up on non amazon.de steels ....independent german retailer prices have been getting increasingly out of hand over the last few years. Another easy pass.
I know! I'll be putting my €35 toward the Kimchi one hopefully.
I heared from my Media Markt today that they are nearly sold out everywhere. They were supposed to have more of them but a truck that was transporting a part of the Steels and the Helmet edition had an acident and burned down completely. So many of the Steels were destroyed in the fire. That kinda reminds me of Metropolis....
I got these beauties in the mail today! I absolutely love this steelbook!
