Is the art work already confirmed as being final? I like it, but I agree that if this is the final art work, then on the front Wolverine doesn't have to come poppin out like a 3D effect
But I am still going to order this steel when it comes out

I was just checking the prices for this steelbook , zavvi.com has it listed for €23,55
zavvi.nl has a price of € 27,29.
I always thought that the prices at zavvi.com and zavvi.nl were exactly the same
and amazon.co.uk has a price of € 19,43

So I think I will buy it from amazon.co.uk

Or you could just wait and pick it up for €10 or €12 in a few months like the first two movies.....:movie:

Your totally right. The first and 2nd are going for £8-£9 now and were way better than Last Stand.

I can't justify spending double on this. Even the artwork is shocking and it's a mass produced title.

Cancelled and now on the back burner!

The thing is yes this happened but certain ones then dissapeared

The x men first class steelbook has gone and way up in price as has the wolverine origins ones, can get either of them for cheaper :(

It's more than 'just a fiver' if you're ordering it now with Zavvi at €23 and in a few weeks they have it for €13. Which, going by their track record, there's a good chance of happening.

Don't mind waiting for this to drop as it not a necessity for me and definitely not worth the current price.

Origins came out in 2012
First class 2011
Thats why they are gone. You had plenty of chances to get origins..

I didn't actually because at that time I didn't collect steelbooks, didn't even have a bluray player actually so that is why I am looking for old ones now.

This constant nonsense some people say to people when they say they missed them.

I didn't even have a bluray player , I can't afford to buy every steelbook when they come out :(

Anyway I'm ordering now don't want to risk it, this time :)

I am sure what Ben meant was that though these two steelbooks are difficult to source now they were widely available at cheap prices for a long time after release. In fact french version of first class which is actually superior in many ways is still widely available. So no need for your sob story.

Exactly. Personally I think it's a complete waste of money ordering now. I'd rather save the cash for the ones that aren't going to stick around and pick stuff like this up when a good deal comes along. I know with previous Fox titles I have been tempted at £12-£13 but ended up picking many up at almost half the price. A good example is 28 Days Later which was available for £11 on pre-order which seemed like a great price at the time. I held off though and grabbed a copy for £6 when Sainsbury's were shutting up shop, I think it was worth the wait. I won't tell anyone else how to spend their own money though, so it's certainly a case of 'to each his own'.

The only problem with waiting for the price to drop, is that you are more likely to get a returned steelbook being in less than desirable condition (based on my experiences), since condition is important to me I'm ordering now, it is too expensive to ship back steelbooks from the USA.

Yeah, but if like me you're not a fan of foreign text on your steelbooks then the problem still stands. The need for a sob story returns. :tear:
