OK they're probably too many to mention and believe me David Brent's dance is NOT one of them. I suppose I'm showing my age but all mine date waaay back. I remember them all well, as I saw them all first time round.
Please enjoy a good laugh.
First up is Dad's Army, and whilst not a great fan of the series as a whole, (bit too jingo-istic imo) it does portray a quaint side of some old fashioned British eccentricities. This snippet from the show is very well known and is from an episode that originally aired on 31st October 1973.

Next up is Not the Nine O'Clock News and a choice of two. The show was shown at the end of the 70's/early 80's and as a rule had a song/video whilst the end credits rolled. The first is possibly R-rated but is still a classic as it was the curtain closer on the whole series on 8th March 1982.

My alternative choice is their closing video from 1st February 1982, once again brilliant.

My favourite all-time comedy moment though is from Only Fools and Horses, again another series which had its ups and downs imo. It was immensely popular show and still holds the record for largest TV Audience for a sitcom in UK. The series ran from 1981 to 1991 with odd Christmas Specials until 2003. This snippet is from the episode called Yuppy Love, first aired on 8th January 1989.
