It does state earlier in this thread (by a mod in the know) that there were no plans to have any embossing/debossing on this steelbook.

Can you point us to that post? I only remember having read pure speculation so far. Whilst I don't think this will have any embossing/debossing (as Sony have never done this), Play.com have surprised us a few times and I hope they do the same here. All they need to do is show the studio us lot getting overexcited when their latest exclusive is embossed and I'm sure Sony would be persuaded :scat:

Just noticed that Play have updated the title:

Zombieland (Play.com Exclusive Steelbook) (with UltraViolet) (Blu-ray)

bet you will want it when its goes OOP tho lol;)

I doubt it, because I don't buy Steelbooks of movies I know I'm not going to watch again. The only Steelbook I have ever wanted after it has gone OOP was Batman Begins, and that is the kind of movie I will watch many times.

not even worth the £11 investment? :hilarious:

Well even though it's pretty good price, that shouldn't be the only reason as why I would buy it. Because you see, I don't buy stuff just because they are cheap.

I said 'investment', I never said anything about the price being 'cheap'. I got this because I know it be OOP before release date and for two reasons:

A - nice looking steel
B - good trading chip

If your not interested in either I guess it doesnt matter what steel is gonna be rare or sought after. But if you are interested in that, this be a worthy investment.

Heres what I do, I reserve a copy just for you, so when it does go OOP and you want one, you can say 'Sunny please can I have one?' on this thread and I will give it to you at cost :)

That's right, I'm not interested in either, because I buy Steelbooks of movies I know I'm gonna watch many times.

And I don't buy Steelbooks for trading chips either. It would be wise to buy a Steelbook for cheap price and later trade it for some expensive Steelbook, but the thing is I don't really support that kind of thing. Besides I don't really think that this Steelbook will ever be that rare.

That is very nice of you for reserving me one copy if I change my mind, but I stand behind my words. :)

I think this will sell out well before release. Even as early at the start of next month. It's been the best selling SB on Play.com since it was available to order.

I've just deleted a number of posts.

Please review the do's and dont's thread. Next stop is an infraction for members that have been warned multiple times previously about these same issues.

Keep the thread on track about this release and use the appropriate threads for trading in the trading forum.

Thanks.
