Just saw this thread!

I believe my Canucks can turn things around! But its probably going to be a harder series then most people thought.

wow, what an embarrassing loss for the Canucks tonight. They looked like the 30th place Blue Jackets not the Presidents Trophy winning team. I hope they wake up soon because that was just an absolute horribly played game start to finish. Luongo was the only Canuck awake on the ice. For a change he actually played well in a playoff game and the team decided to take a snooze.

I think Danny Sedin needs to come back for them to win their series, Henrik looked almost lost without him. Either that or Kesler and Booth need to step up

Things looked pretty good when Dan was out and we won 7 straight...
But i agree, we need him back. Along with Kes, he hasn't been the same player as last year. I don't think think Vancouver will go far if he doesn't show up.

How about your Devils? I picked Brodeur in my hockey pool this year and he let me down big time! ...Think he still has it in him to make a run?

I certainly hope so, he's played less games this year then almost any other time in his career so he should be fresh, and he has the lineup in front of him to beat Florida at least, and hopefully further than that.

I almost lost it after their series against Carolia a few years ago, I don't know if you saw or remember that one, so for the sake of my mental health I hope they win :joy:

Love to see Brodeur get his 100th playoff win tonight!

Sorry, I dont remember the Carolina series... I've watched too many games over the years. Not enough room in my brain to hold them all. haha

I remember it... I bet the name Staal haunts you, lol. That was just an awful way to lose. It all happened so quick in the third period too. I watched that game live... I was like "is this really happening", lol.

Hopefully this year will be different for the Devils.

Hated Staal and the Hurricanes ever since :joy:

I watched it live to, my language was considerably worse then yours though I'm sure :p

Good start at least for Jersey, now Van City needs to win in the late game!

Dang. Canucks got caught bent over holding there ankles again. Looks like a 1st round upset in the making.

That Elias goal was just NASTY! Sick hands.

Go Penguins! My team since '93, when I chose them in NHL '93 on the Sega Genesis because I liked the yellow/black combination of their jersey (shirt?).

Somewhen I'll come overseas and attend one of their games

They are not doing very well so far, down 3-0 with tonights 8-4 loss.

Crazy game.

Nucks and Penguins are done for this year. That Philly/Penguins game was nuts. Like old school hockey.

Time for Coach V in Vancouver to pack his bags, lol.
