did you see that knee on knee crap from Brown... no call and bam series over. I thought that was complete BS garbage no call. Then ref's were whacked in that game. It should have been a 5 minute major and a game misconduct. Plus there should be a suspension review from Shanny for that. I mean a couple guys got 5 game suspensions in the season for that exact knee on knee's. And the guy that got hit was injured so there is that.


Just for that BS crap I hope whatever team comes out of the East destroys the Kings and Brown.

I did see that, watched most of the game plus he whole overtime. I agree with what you said, should have been at the least a kneeing penalty. Not to mention the missed high sticking call and the fact that Doughty could have and should have got a misconduct for exploding on the refs

yup there was a bunch of garbage really that got let go. I mean Im down for letting things go in O/T but some of it you have to call IMO. Doughty def' shoulda' got an extra two for mouthing off and the high stick def shoulda' been another 2 mins and the Brown kneeing shoulda' been 5 and a game plus suspension. But it all happened so fast and now that the series is over its all gonna get swept under the carpet just like the Dallas Start cup win over Buffalo back when.

I can't believe no one has brought up the Brown kneeing thing in the media post series... he should be suspended at least 3 games to start the next series! I love hockey but man the NHL as a league has gone to sh!t. No consistency what so ever. Its really hindering the league in a big way.

I really didn't think the Kovy deal was going to pan out in a championship ever for the Devils but Im being proven wrong at the moment.

And like you said, the greatest thing for me would be for Marty to win, hoist the Cup one last time, and call it a career. He's been my favourite player since I can remember, and I would love for him to go out on top.

its over FoG Im sad to say. Only two goals from the Devils in three games just isn't good enough. I think the Kings will try really hard to close this out in 4 games at home now.
