You have to perhaps take into account what people actually own.

I voted for Maleficent, and while it's probably not as good as either Army of Darkness or Iron Man, I don't own either of those. As for Frozen, the steelbook was poor no matter where you got it from once you took all the extra stuff off it. Anyway, each of us will have different criteria when it comes to voting.

Please get your eyes checked!!!

You must have a boatload left over. LOL.
Nah....not at all but I do think we need a sub category for a catalog title.Some of the titles here are about 5 to 6 years old already. It's time to move on and make room for the newer titles. Next thing you know, it's 10 years from now and we'll be nominating Iron Man again for steelbook of the year....

I do agree we need a sub category. Ones with Slipcovers from Asia would be a good start I think.

@Wootball as has been our tradition for 4 years, the 25 most nominated Steelbook titles are included in the poll. Rush UK didn't receive enough mentions, but Maleficent did. Thanks!

Are you sure?

I've counted 5 votes for Rush (UK) but only 4 votes for Iron Man (Blufans) and this one made it to the final list.

@runk0002
Drive (mondo)
Rush (zavvi)
The Lion King (zavvi)

@fariz
X-Men Days of Future Past HMV UK
Drive Mondo
Rush UK

@wxlinkswd
47 Ronin(ALL)
Wolf of Wall Street (UK)
Rush(UK)

@taher
1. The Rescuers Zavvi
2. Rush UK
3. Pacific Rim Blufans

@Wootball
1. Rush (UK)
2. Wolf of Wall Street (UK)
3. Drive (Nova Media)

@wasims
Ironman Blufans
Drive Lenticular Nova media
Gladiator HDzeta
Ironman Kimchi 1/4 slip...

@GinjaNinja18
1 - Iron Man (Blufans)
2 - Memento Lenticular (KimchiDVD)
3 - Jumanji (Zavvi)
4 - Captain America: The Winter Soldier Lenticular (NovaMedia)

* If Iron Man dioesn't count for this year then move everything up one:

@Texas Ex
1 - Iron Man (Blufans) *
2 - Jumanji (Zavvi)
3 - Gladiator (HDZ)

* If Iron Man isn't eligible, move the next two up and add Drive (Mondo - FutureShop)

@DJHilalo
1) I Saw The Devil (PA)
2) Iron Man (Blufans)
3) Drive (Nova)

Out of the 25 listed
7 titles are Zavvi Exclusives

I gave a vote to most of the 25 titles as I have the majority of them

There are a few I'm surprised did not make the top 25
Considering the feedback over the year and as lot of the titles praised over the year did not get nominated and were bigger sellers

Just curious DB how many people nominated titles this year compared to previous years nominations

Which ever title wins it will be a worthy winner just surprised to not see some of the other titles you would have expected to make the list

Thanks alter-the voting list is final. There are other considerations such as members who have multiple accounts or posted multiple times that were caught and weeded out. As always there was a wide margin between the most nominated title and the last one on the list. This has always been a community vote, and I assure you the titles in this list all deserve to be on the list according to the checked and crossed process always in place. Thanks.

About equal numbers year to year. Zavvi also released many more titles vs other retailers. By numbers alone it makes sense that they would have been nominated more (mostly Disney, which were pretty popular).

Remember, pics, and why you voted for a certain title is part of the fun! But lets keep the trolling and personal attacks over differences in collector preferences out of this community. It's never been cool at HDN, so lets keep things friendly in here for this community tradition. Thanks all!
