Yeah Google apps. I flash thru recovery. I don't like rom manager because it uses clockworkmod recovery. I use AmonRa but I don't think that's available on Droid. Let us knkw if you have any questions.

Not sure but I think titanium pro has that.

yup, get the donate version and it'll do that for you. well worth the price imo

Titanium Pro (Donate version) rules!! It makes reinstalling everything hassle free lol I feel your pain about having to click each app to install lol

Cyanogen is on it. ;-)

I know I've been following his Tweets ;) and been keeping up with Android central just in case something new pops up.

My gf had to return her G2X yesterday and the rep at T-Mo told her that the screen issue she encountered is a widespread problem and that a software update is coming to fix the issue.

The screen turns off and you need to do a battery pull (I know ironic I left BB for that). But they are exchanging defective units without any questions so that's good to know. :scat:

Anyone know how to get TXT messages to display on the screen? not on the top bar? I downloaded Handcent but it's buggy and it doesn't mark my txt messages as read so I always have a notification.

not sure what you mean

My messages only get displayed on the top bar, they never pop on on my screen as a notification.

Your doing something wrong then lol. Handcent works great for my phone! My gf has hers set to pop up in the middle of the screen like how you want it to...
