BLUFANS DO NOT DELIVER OUTSIDE OF CHINA

bf5y.jpg

With a growing popularity of Blufans Exclusive steelbook collection, I'm thinking it is a good idea to have the thread about Blufans. Please feel free to discuss anything related to Blufans products.

Currently, Blufans only ships their orders within China, not to overseas.

Credit to REDLEMON and thanks to him for doing the list, with updated release date on coming Blufans releases
Blufans Exclusives SteelBooks™ List

And in order for our members better understanding the Blufans Exclusive steelbooks, here is how are they made and how long are they made.
BE STEELBOOK FLOWCHART

STAGE 1: ARTWORKS DESIGN

1) Blufans chooses the photos from studio art library.
2) Concept arts designing. Time: normally about 7 days.
3) Submit the arts to studio headquarters for approval. Time: 7 to 10 days.
4) Once the art is approved, send the artworks to Scanavo (the steelbook maker) for review. Time: wthin 7 days

Total time: 15 to 20 days

STAGE 2: STEELBOOK MANUFACTURING

1) Confirm steelbook finish (Glossy vs Matte) (emboss, deboss, or none )
2) Making a tin proof for BLUFANS to check. Time:10 to 14 days.
3) Making a sample steelbook. The step is optional, but Blufans always request it for ensuring a better quality of its products. There will be an extra cost for doing this. Time: 14 days
4) Steelbooks in Mass Production. Time:45 days
5) Custom Clearence. Time: 7 days
6) Transport the steelbooks to Packing facility. Time: 4 days

Total Time: at least 70 days

STAGE 3: PACKING and SHIPPING

1) Pack all the elements into the steelbook and factory-seal it. Time: 3 to 5 days
2) Shipping. Time: 7 days

Total Time: at least 10 days

As you can see, if everything goes perfectly smooth, you will wait at least 90 days to receive the final product.

Things are fine with Kevin.

Gbs are here too. I realize your post last month but for sake of thread clarity just sayin

Does anyone know how many people actually work for Blufans? Like is it literally just Kevin and money ordering a few thousand steels, and then some friends helping him ship?

The problem with this case changing is if they require you to open it up then we are screwed. Now we have an opened package. MOst of us like to keep them seeled for obvious reasons. They need to send out empty replacement cases to every single steelbook purchased IMO as from what I gather the % of damaged steels is more than half. In fact I hear its as high as 90%. That is blatent. If this were sold in the U.S. it would have a recall ASAP.

I am to the point of questioning myself if I will even bother with blufans anymore if they don't do the right thing and correct this problem for every person affected. We shouldn't be required to open the sealed package to check if its scratched up. Value is cut in half. These are collectables and they retain their value by keeping them in the sealed state.

Totally agree that quality should be right - especially at their prices.

Have to disagree about opening them cutting the value in half . . . .

i.e. Books without their dustjackets lose as much as 75% of their value - but reading them does not devalue them at all.

A Ferrari 365GTB/4 doesn't lose any value by being driven - in fact mothballed they are actually worth less as they are more likely to need a rebuild (seals deteriorate when they don't see oil regularly, etc.)

No reason why an opened and (truly) mint Steelbook should be worth less than a sealed one - it's merely a matter of personal perception - or semantics . . . :)

p.s. Does being a Blufans VIP entail being vetted by the Chinese Communist Party and then being enrolled in the Party elite upon proving your worth by reciting Mao's speeches from memory whilst denying poverty, detention, denial of human rights and 'dissapearance' of unruly elements just doesn't happen in the nice new China :) - or is that just a myth . . . . . . ;)

Sorry to hear about your troubles @smileyx9. My godfather blufans took a while to get to me but he solved the problem and I received a damaged pacific rim slip and he resolved that problem. I hope your frozen shows up :\

He sent my Blufans Star Trek Version A from Canada (according to what he said) with non-tracked post and surprisingly it is lost on its way to Turkey. He refunded me 5 USD or something like that which was funny on my side. Was impossible to prove and claim about it and I did not insist, I really want to believe him but sending and item from Canada to Turkey without tracking number is suicide, in addition to that doing this without any communication is just "question mark" for me... Also I lost a precious item which is really hard to obtain at the moment...

I´m feeling with you,Buddy. One Question for all of you to think of: Is it a correct way to do Buisness with someone(me),who is just protecting his Money,to throw him out of GB´s which he has payed for just to protect his PP Account? Well in the end i´m glad he refunded my Payment for the Iron Man GB, i'm really sad to see the "real" Face of this GB Host ,just filling his Pockets and doing nothing to help me with my Frozen Issue

I am really sorry for you fellow ninja. I know that you are a regular contributer and helpful and enthusiastic member. You did nothing wrong. It is not acceptable for money to be paid and then not have the goods even after nearly 2 months.
I am glad that even though I was tempted many times I have remained faithful to HDN and have never joined the other forum. NINJA STRONG!!

Folks, please keep this discussion to PM's or e-mail with the actual people involved in any dispute/or discuss in Retailer thread. We ask that you do not use our threads to solicit feedback on personal arguments/disagreements. Everyone should be addressing individual issues with the seller or gen retailer chat threads. Thanks for your cooperation.

Sorry for the unfortunate situation. I had few issues with Blufans shipping but Kevin always came through and helped me. One of the best GB host I ever dealt with. Sad to see you go smiley.

Sorry to hear mate, I can relate as I had a previous bad experience as well and ended up buying them off ebay after...this whole period/process from the moment is shipped to the refund can be very stressful, it really affected me. I am sorry that you still didn't get your Frozen, our most anticipated Blufans Release we waited so long for this. I hope you can find a copy at a not so expensive price. So no refund for Frozen just refunded you KFP and Iron man ? jeez sorry to hear...
