For years, the name Bungie has been synonymous with the game Halo. Yesterday, they unveiled their next massive project called Destiny. They've partnered up with activision and the game looks amazing. This will be the thread for news, photos and updates relating to the game. Enjoy!

Destiny will probably be a hit based on the previous titles from Bungie( Halo). The guys over at Bungie are sticking to what they do and know best, and it will pay off for them.Also, with using less time to make a whole new game over the next ten years, they can just release awesome dlc maybe 4 times a year.the only thing that worries me is that so many of the free to play games look similar.Warframe gives me the same vibe as Destiny does.

I' have all intentions on pre ordering and getting into that beta.

It's funny, eh? I guess the fallout with Microsoft must've been rough. It'll definitely be a strange next gen with Bungie showing the love for PS4 and Insomniac making games for the Xbox One.

I guess they were both kinda confined to one systems for two generations, so they just wanted to test the other side, and they like what they saw.

Sony have kicked off their press conference with the news that Destiny beta will hit Playstation 4 via PS Plus on July 4th.

Sony also announced a special bundle featuring a White PS4, white DualShock 4, Destiny and 30 days of PS Plus.

Sadly no. They just gave us these unique codes to redeem that included this beta, the new Battlefield beta, along with some other things. The code for the Destiny Alpha beta should be coming in tonight or tomorrow. In which I will be playing this all weekend :LOL:

My assumption is that who all went are guaranteed codes as both these betas seem to be limited. The Destiny Alpha beta only lasts this weekend if I remember correctly.

That's still pretty cool then... at least you know you've definitely got access to the beta. I believe it goes live tomorrow (Thursday) by the way. Well done, and enjoy! :thumbs:
 
signed up for Alpha heres to hoping I can get in Beta as well. Bungie is a top notch studio this will be amazing I'm sure.
