From the USA thread but should be the same bad news:
hey guys, I was able to see one of these in person but could not take pictures to share. As we're used to with the marvel releases, we're looking at overall a matte steelbook with some embossing & debossing on the front - along with some spot gloss.

The disappointing news, the spine is like Guardians - no title, design continues on to the spine.

Crap :(
Good thing I made a pre-order with Zavvi...

did that have a confirmed spine title? the only thing going for NA Marvel was the title and now it is gone too..and w/o 3D for Canada.. :(
Yup.... European editions (UK, DE, Fr, It, CZ and others) have a title on the spine.

First the end of WEA Exclusive... then the end of Mondo Canada Exclusive... followed by the Matte Finish Bonanza and now the end of Spine title...
Canada SteelBooks are dead.

Oh... quick update from the official BBY Canada forums:

Here is a screenshot of the English version of the flyer. FYI, the minimum 10 per store is in the French flyer only, and that minimum quantity only pertains to stores in Quebec. Outside of Quebec, there MIGHT be some stores with less than 10. Quantity will vary by store.

3D Disk Version Review

The transfer on the 3D disc is a 1080p MVC and it has been authored incredibly well. This film is one of those that doesn’t have to rely on the 3D but wow, does it make excellent use of it. When the sorcerers are twisting reality, you really get a sense of depth and shape. There are a few times when some things in the background look a bit flat but these moments are rare. The video tends to be darker but this is expected in the format. One of the times where it is very noticeable is in the opening scene. The shadows and images are muddled and details become lost. When the objects move from the foreground to the background and vice versa, it is seamless. I can easily say that next to STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, this is Disney’s best 3D release yet.

After having issues both online and in store reserving a copy I finally got it. When I went into the store they said they could get it for me, then they reserved the french one in my name, when I pointed it out they canceled my reservation and then told me I was SOL for an english one. After finally picking it up yesterday (in english, which they had a ton of) I am now having all of the same issues with Rogue One...
