Quite like the art and is much better than the uk/ WWA version

But I might try and eBay this in a few months for either the 2D or 2D & 3D. Won't bother with a GB for this due to funds and other blufans I'm more interested in

As I think I said another thread last week - that wouldn't benefit anybody as most people have a preference of 3D or 4K (not both). To pile them all into one box would mean you're paying for 1 extra premium disc you don't need. Better to let 3D buyers just buy 3D and 4k buyers just buy 4k.

4K and 2D features have Atmos. 3D doesn't.

Also 4K seems to be a better choice for this release as it was finished at 4K.

Cinematographic Process Digital Intermediate (4K) (master format)

Since the Blu-ray needs much less info than 4K, it will have the best quality that a BD can offer.

I don't see it as 4K Disk being the Better choice, it offers the full potential of the 4K Disk as well as the Full Potential of the 2D Disk.

At least it's what makes sense to me.

What does that have to do with what I said? My comment was about the inclusion of 3D + 4K in the same package being a waste. Sounds like you're in the 4K camp, so you probably wouldn't want a 3D you're never gonna use? I wouldn't want a 4K disc I'm never gonna use.

Not that the numbering system Blufans uses is always followed exactly, but can we expect this release to come after Dory?! (Dory is release # 38) Here's to hoping!

Feel the same, Bought 2 Releases by Sony (Amaray ''3D Combo'' for Passengers and Ghostbusters 2016) and they came with the 4K Disk ???

They included a 4K Disk in a 3D Combo  ..not buying any more amarays that come with a 4K, if I want the 3D I'll do as usual will get from Taiwan or other country that does not include the 4K Disk in a 3D Combo.

But for this movie, I mean its Blufans for Fantastic Beasts  ...I'll have to make peace with the 4K included in it

Kevin on BD Forum posted this info
Three editions planned for the release

1) 4K+BD
2) 3D+BD
3) BD ONLY

This suits me better as I have no interest in 4K
3D+BD edition I will be going for

For those that want 4K and 3D you will have to purchase the one click or separate 4K and 3D editions
Thanks Blufans for giving us the option of purchasing an edition that doesn't come with 4K and 3D baggage.
