This will be sitting with Ida and The Master for a while. They finally just sold out the Wrestler 1/4 Slips and Keepcases. Most of what sells out are small print runs Sugar Man, Rust and Bone or Small print run variations: The Master 1/4 Slip. I'm a big PA fan but there is a reason the studios didn't give Foxcatcher a decent theatrical release even with 3 name actors attached to it, this is not a mainstream movie. The Wrestler for example had much more media exposure than this and it only had 2K copies I think so why would The Foxcacher 2x better? I will probably buy the best of the versions of this film and I thought it was original but this is not the type of movie at least for me that you re watch and is not for everyone. But I could be dead wrong, guess we will find out. Hope they do a nice Full Slip, lenti would probably not be the best idea, can't picture it.

Tbh - I enjoyed the film but echo others in that it's difficult to watch repeatedly. Not to sound like a PA fanboy but the reasons I've gotten hold of their releases is the beauty, care and attention to detail they exhibit. I'll eventually own the film, owning a PA version would be all the better,

Never seen Foxcatcher but the titles PA choose are all, till now, classic movies who deserves a place in my collection, even if I watch it only once in years.
The only one I'm not into it is King of Pigs. I love graphic novels, I love cartoons but I'm absolutely not into manga. But they are so popular and beloved that this release also makes sense no doubt.

PA don't need to prove anyone anymore that their releases could sell out fast. So with their new guideline of producing more to prevent expensive reselling and keeping a stock of back titles
for new PA heads is another plus and speaks for their collector sense. Culture beyond Media

I hated this movie, and it was one of the worst, if not my most disliked movie of 2014.

With that being said, I will still purchase every option Plain releases, just to have a complete collection. I'll never open and watch them though, as struggling through this a first time was torture enough.

There was a announcement on Plain Archive website and Facebook page
That from Ida onwards they are going to make enough print run on there releases for people to acquire one who want one and also for people who are new and in the future new to Plain there back catalogue will be avaliable on there website.

They don't want people (to) having to queue up falling over themselves at zero hour smashing there keyboards and it selling out and it not being avaliable for other people to purchase

Almost surprised you hated this as you've said how much you love art/indie films. Also, it seems crazy to buy a film you consider torture to watch.

Can't wait to see what they come up with for this. I loved the film, so I'm also really excited to rewatch it. :)

Hmm, for the first time with a Plain Archive release I'm really not sure I like the artwork. Its early days so lets see how it pans out, but still...
