I blind-bought this (it shipped today, in fact) because I really like the look of the steel, but think I'm gonna give it a rent before I open it!
as far as the anime goes, I've only seen the original 1995 film, and liked this live-action remake when I saw it in IMAX..
a lot of fans of the continuing OAV series seem to rip it pretty hard though.

Hmmm this is full gloss and apparently the Uk version is spot glossed and a debossed title so not sure what will look better

Word out there is quantities are quite limited for this release. Beware and be sure to get your copy as soon as it becomes available.
I have a feeling that even if it's more limited than others, it won't sell out quickly.
