Gold Academy Award Slip Covers

For the longest these have been hit and miss in my stores. They also have a good amount of interest in slip cover collectors.

So.... This thread is for those looking for Gold Academy Awards and for those to report which ones are available in their area to assist others.


I got lucky and today scored the Inglourious Basterds last one at one my stores.

Right now I can get my hands on only Training Day & Cinderella Man if anyone is looking for them.

Around here i've got Training Day, Casablanca, and Gone with the Wind.

I've only been able to find them at Best Buy. Where are you finding them?

I found Inglourious Basterds at Hastings. BB only had Training Day while Hastings had that plus Cinderella Man. I didnt know of all the movies to check, so could maybe find more I did check for Seabiscut though and it wasnt there.

I dont know, maybe its only if they re-order these movies that this is the print the distributor sends them. *shrug*

Atonement, Ray, & Out of Africa are at the Best Buy near me.

All the others are actually at our Costco.....I've actually found Costco to be a relative goldmine for these....and only $12.99 each.....

update: I see my best buy restocked IB since the time before they only had 1 in stock ... they restocked with all gold slip cover ones. They have 5 there. Cost more than my Hastings though (which I got for 19.99) BB has them at 24.99

May be a week or so, but I'll be able to get it I'm sure. My Best Buy isnt in a huge city, I've been able to pick up steelbooks on the weekend when they come out on Tuesdays. Heh.

No, but you can check wal-mart too .. they also carry these, and Hastings if you have any.

Thanks Wreck. I did check some Walmarts in my area and no luck. And I don't have Hastings in my area. I'm pretty sure I'll find it when I don't expect it. Always happens to me.
