Like with most of the Ghibli collection, I've been holding off buying the regular Blu-ray in the hope this would get a steel. Glad the waiting has paid off
Zavvi are bulking up the Ghibli collection this year!
Give us all the Ghibli's!
Perfect timing! My tear ducts are long overdue for a good flushing. (Though Coco almost did the trick.)
oh my Glob YES!
This will fill my cart easily so I can finally use the giftcard I won right here on the best community in the world wide web!
One of the saddest movies of all time but one of the most beautiful movies that you will ever see that makes you appreciate so much. Will be preordering this one when it goes live
It's nice to see them supporting this line still with matching artwork of the others but damn it I really want them to do another line with better, more colourful artwork
It's Studio Ghibli...it deserves better then a single picture or so with a boring silver background
Are Zavvi taking the mick. Price has gone up £29.99
it's a masterpiece as all Ghibli movies, but the steelbook
Tales from Earthsea and The Cat Returns are £15.99, but they say RRP is £29.99. I think that £29.99 price is just a placeholder price to be honest.
The problem is nomatter how bad the steel will look. You will probably still get it if you have the previous studio ghibli steels.
Was it not supposed to be live for sale at 18.00 uk time. The price changed to £29.99 at 18.00 hours.
didnt buy the previous steelbooks. had 3 German steelbooks, but all were scratched so sent them back ...after the x replacement I gave up.
Wasn't that for The Red Turtle? I never had a pre-order time when I posted the OP for this.
Was it? i might be sleeping . Strange tough as they are releasing bot the steels on the same day. Never mind. I did preorder Red Turtle tough.
Only saw his earlier in the week (off the back of wanting a tear-jerker via post-break up self-pity wallowing)
Wasn’t what I expected (bare in mind it’s maybe my 4th Ghibli too) even though the ending is given st the start.
Weirdly, sad as it was, and as much as I enjoyed it, I didn’t feel moved.
Aside from annoyance and anger at the aunt. Meh,
Gorgeous steel, might be one of my favourites of the series. A masterpiece film of course.
Rest in peace Isao Takahata.
The most upsetting film I have seen in my life.
The most powerful anti-war film ever made imo.
A certain pre-order.
