Yes....so disappointing!

It is indeed remastered but the differences are subtle because of Michael Mann's filming style. His films have a distinct brown blue dark look coupled with soft focussed cinematography.

I avoided buying the new version for various reasons it doesn't seem to improve on the original release in terms of video quality, I don't like the changes to the colours or it being more zoomed in and various other reasons being mentioned. I decided to cancel my steelbook early on too before the release, I did like the steelbook artwork but I don't support this remaster and decided to stick with what I have.
