Still no sign of this, although yesterday I received Temple of Doom which was despatched on the same day! If it's gone missing in the mail, it wouldn't be the first one this year - I've had two Amazon packages and two letters addressed to me go missing in the mail in recent months. No wonder we are all switching our business away from Royal Mail...

Second post? What's that??? Was abolished around my way years ago! Now we get just the one delivery (if we're lucky!) any time between about 9:30am to 6:30pm...! And, no I don't live right out in the sticks, but on the edge of a large town!

Received mint today! Has anyone received a "slashed" copy? Or did the spine slasher really let us off on these steels?

Yes, three copies of KOTCS received today - all three of them have slashes right through the titles on the spine under the shrinkwrap!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that . Really is stupid that the spine slash issue is still around; all Zavvi have to do is to tell the warehouse workers to not cut the boxes open as they have been doing. Same thing applies to the other companies as well.

Those who've received it, has anyone else noticed the odd title on the front cover? The letters 'D' and 'O' in 'Kingdom' look like they're in bold (slightly thicker/fatter) but the rest isn't and it's fine on the spine. Weird.

Received today, safe and sound. Only 2 days after Temple of Doom, which was despatched on the same day...!

I truly didn't notice it when I was checking it over in full OCD mode, yet I just spotted it on the "latest steelbook..." thread when someone posted theirs. Weird, eh!

I know what it is - those two letters are missing the thin black outline that the other characters in the title have. Just compare the 'O' with the one in the word 'OF' and you'll see what I mean. I think that's creating the illusion that the letters are actually a bit thicker/bolder than the rest. Still looks a bit odd, though...

That could be it. It's weird, until you notice it you can very easily miss it, but once you know it's there, your eyes are drawn...

The original FS release is nice, but a steelbook with Drew Struzan art is always a win for me. A Star Wars set of Drew Struzan steelbooks would be amazing!
