I just watched the Peter Jackson King Kong the other night (actually 2 nights, as I watched the extended cut which was 3 Hrs 20 Mins) on Blu-Ray.

Good film, good acting, andy serkis as Kong.

Some of the CGI is little dated now, and the extended cut is pretty long, the theatrical is probably the way to go.

Anyways, yeah i would get the steelbook if it had nice art.

2005 release.

I always liked these two old releases.

I would opt for 1933 and 2005 only but the option isn't there so I plumped for 1933. I have DVD tins of these (love the R1 embossed tin for 1933) and have been tempted with the BD digibooks.

Future King Kong Steelbooks?

Hey NINJAS! Just wondering if anyone knows if a King Kong Steelbook will be released in the future? Universal released a bunch of comic cover steels, but none for King Kong! This film has not gotten much love :( We've received a few G1 steels, where's the G2 size!? :dunno: Thanks Ninjas!
