2 steelbooks for €34 now (zavvi). Ordered this and godzilla king of monsters wanted this skull island for a while, this price made me do the jump. Must say the steelbook looks awesome, and suprises me its still not sold out

That's a cool deal! I immediately checked the 2 for 34 € / 30 GBP offers too, but I only got three other steels showing besides "Kong: Skull Island" ("Matrix: Revolutions", "Detective Pikachu", "The Meg"). None of them are interesting to me. I guess I'll have to wait for another special offer.

This was £16.99 the other day and with the 12% off would of cost £14.95 (same as Godzilla and Pikachu) but in true Zavvi p!ss take form they’ve created another deal but put the prices back up to make it look like your getting a better deal.
I’d wait and it should drop again after another few weeks

You maybe right but its really just a diffrence about a few $€£.. not that much. I ordered becouse i still wanted kong and would be sad if its going to sell out, and i missed it over that kind of money

oh yeah this isn’t too bad in comparison to what they’ve done with the same stunt in the past. Well they do it a lot tbh but in this case it’s just pennies. It makes me laugh when they do it though, like do they think people don’t notice. But they been doing it years so the answer is probably yes lol

Hahah true. But i'm glad i did becouse i checked, godzilla king of monsters is now sold out. That made me buy these 2.

That’s the thing, looking at the stock photo of it before I didn’t bat an eyelid at it. But I’m still on the fence, as like @BluSteel2012 said, I’m thinking of the filmarena version coming.....

Lovely steel and great value. For me the movie doesn’t justify a premium. One I bought for the steel.

@jasong I hear you, it was weak compared to PJ’s Kong, but I think as a premium and to go alongside the newly announced ( snigger) filmarena PJ version is a must. It had its ups, but yeah plenty of downs too. But as @GrimmReapah said, there has been far worse movies that got premium treatments- looking at you 25% marvel movies, 75% DC movies !

Yep, always worse, in the worst film for a premium category. It maybe me but I don’t usually buy unless it’s a multiple watcher or I love it. This was for the steel. Horses for courses as ever
