After some suggestions from fellow members I thought it would be great to have a separate thread for Steelbooks from Korea, where we can discuss our mutual love for KR Steels and there awesome Slips.

Please feel free to discuss all things related to KR Steels and there Slips and posting pictures would be cool.

Also as you acquire new steels please post your pictures so we can all see them.

Great pics there mate. There's a few there I'd love to get hold of, but it's so hard to find them now at anything like a reasonable price. It's amazing how few Korean releases there've been really - hardly any compared to some other countries. I guess that makes them even more collectable.

I feel sorry for anyone just getting into this hobby and discovering that they want the top Korean releases - MAN that would be expensive now!

What is this steelbook?

Yeah I saw that last night. It's the Japanese anime series 'Giant Robo' remastered in HD as a 20th Anniversary Special Edition.

I think it's a 4-disc steelbook in a special presentation box. Very limited.

Thankfully of no interest to me, as it's pretty pricey at $110. Could be one for the Korean steel completists though.

What's annoyed me more than anything is the quality of the shrink on it. I hope my photo shows it off. It's the same quality as my Taiwan steelbooks. My copy of Underworld Awakening Korea has the same top notch quality shrink.

So why can't the shrink on Korean steels be the same as this?
