Never say never! Manta obviously went through a bit of a delay due to the studio being difficult, so I imagine the same goes for anyone else looking to release a premium edition for this film... I know of at least one other retailer who's hoping to do one anyway. ;)

Oh Please do tell :woot: you cannot drop this on me and not say more :p

The Best Buy Exclusive was a Superb Classy Steel also a must have
It's not a must have for me
I cancelled my order with Zavvi and Amazon for the UK steelbook

This is not a film that is a must have for me even though I have lot film musicals in my collection at home on DVD including Soundtracks on Vinyl and CD

When I was working in the retail business I was a specialist buyer for film Soundtracks and Stage Shows and that included lot of imports
Film Musicals/Stage Shows is an area I have crazy sales records which took over the tower records top 40 sales chart in London to the annoyance of the rock department :giggle:

I can see why lot do like this film though but it's not a release I must have

Some of these official international posters would've looked nice on a slip IMO...

The 2 last posters for sure Manta was aware of them(I had send them to Manta but they know what they are doing anyways so there was no need to send) and must have tried to incorporate them into the package, but I do not know why the studio was so difficult with them. It's crazy that it took 11 months for the process to be completed, really crazy !

I am not one to like musicals, but this isn't a full on Musical. I do not know why but this has completely taken over me, the score and soundtrack like I said I never listen to Score and OST for movies but for La La Land I play them always... and this movie is simply delightful to me, Emma has never been better on the Big Screen.

Just Pure Magic

Would of loved the second poster on a slip. The orange above the skyline is so nice

I’m swaying toward the full slip now because of pretty much the same image on the steel front and back and lenti front and back. Wish manta had more freedom on this. Such a shame how it’s turned out

Yes it's a different type of film musical compared to other films which is why it's liked by lot of the public who would normally not watch film musicals

There is some very good Film Soundtracks Scores and also Films with songs from various artists
Film Musicals/Stage Shows some are better to listen to than seeing the film or stage show itself

Such a lazy and boring package. I think I’m gonna skip this and be happy with my Zavvi steel. This is way overpriced. I don’t like the slip and the lenti is the same as the steel.

Just plainly bad if you ask me.

I’m sad. I had so high hopes for this release :(

At least I am not living in cloud cuckoo La La land with money trees. $60 for this Vs £23 for the gorgeous UK Steel which looks so much better than the artwork used here

I would be happy to live in La La Land :joy: ...but you keep comparing ''bare steelbooks'' to ''Premium Editions'' which you cannot do !!!
It is not the same type of Product.

I, myself, have the UK one and the Best Buy one (as well with so many other editions) so this is the cherry on top of the sundae :p
