Seriously @Andycadle84 that lenti for season 1 is just ridiculously good! - vol 2 that is - I had a look for it but it's region 1 :(

And I really like season 3 lenti too, season 2 no so much

Still hoping they do a proper thundercats movie, I'm not sure how power rangers performed and I'm not interested in honesty but surely thundercats has to happen one day

    Snarf snarf

    They look awesome! :OMG:

I'm sure @tridon would love to own those, if he doesn't already. ;)

    :hilarious:

Now you're just making me cringe lol. If you start calling anyone "bae", then I'll have no choice but to block you. :bored: :p

Thundercats and TMNT were my childhood!! I fortunately have a multi region player so I've owned those box sets for a number of years now.

Did you ever catch the reboot of Thundercats? Only saw a handful of episodes but wasn't too impressed.

To my knowledge, it was only the first print of those box sets that had the lentis attached- the later editions had standard images on the box- Out of the four box sets, I have three lentis (thankfully the one I don't have is the worst of the bunch, being the very first boxset)

If we had more lentis like these on steelbooks I'd think twice about them. As they are now, they're all very much passable in my opinion.

Same mate when it comes to tv animation along with real ghostbusters, x men, spidey, batman and looney tunes

Nah mate, and to be honest it's been a long time since I've seen the original series. Whereas TMNT and the ones I've mentioned I own all on DVD (but you can't at all TMNT, ghostbusters or seaons 3 & 4 of batman over here)

    Lol

That particular season 1 vol 2 is going for around £20 + on eBay but there is one for £7.50 but not sure if it has the lenti, it a stock image

I just want that lenti lol

And yeah I agree, imagine if these Disney's had those style or amount of effort put in

I've said it a million times but my local post office/ sweet shop has better lentis with cats in f*cking baskets that look real and the depth of a nova lenti in the form of place mats and mouse mats for £2ish each lol

Why can't zavvi and Disney make them like that

If I could write any film or comic book, it'd be the ThunderCats.

Looks fine and dandy with no alignment issues that I can see (unlike some in the collection). However not entirely appreciating the darker steelbook vs. the more vibrant colours of the lenticular and wishing that the steelbook was as colourful as the lenti.
Something similar to the MOANA steelbook although that was reported Gloss even though it didna look gloss in the live pics and didna photograph as a glossy steelbook (Euro/Asia editions).

That being said pretty, pretty sunset colours on this long, long-awaited steelbook  and an OK price for a Disney lenticular steelbook.

No embossed title thus making THE LONE RANGER something of a one-off . . . for a Disney lenticular steelbook.
    *Pity about the blue disc.

Looks like we have proper alignment on the lenti. Outside of potential war with North Korea, that lenti was my biggest source of anxiety.
