Yeah the extras in memento are amazing. It's also one of my favourite lenticular whereas the Thor, I find heavily over-rated.

And honestly mate, do it if you can. It's one of the nicest lenticular out there and probably the best all around package.
@FN-2187 i fully agree with both what @matthewtheunicorn and @davhyl say, get hold of one if you can.

i was looking for years for one that was a half-reasonable price. :sorry: i finally found one in only the last couple of months, unsealed but as-new, on eBay selling from Portugal. i just got lucky - it wasn't filed properly and no-one else bid for it. the lenti is amazing and the whole package is beautifully crafted - in fact, seeing shots of it online was one of the reasons i started getting into premium editions in the first place. it's definitely one of my favourites. i'd been looking for years, so keep the faith! :) and good luck.

Has anyone ever compared the disc in this exclusive with the director approved blu-ray release?

I’m thinning out my collection and I’m wondering if I should put the new transfer disc in with this exclusive and toss the exclusive disc out with the amaray or just sell of the new transfer version on eBay if the disc in this exclusive is the same or practically indistinguishable.

Anyone here own/watched both and have an opinion that could help me? Thx.

The director approved release as in the 10th Anniversary Release?

I do not have both but hope this can help. There are only two blu-ray releases: the first one on a BD-25 and the 10th Anniversary on a BD-50, which is far superior. The Korean release is a BD-50 so should be same as the 10th Anniversary.

Couldn’t the Korean disc just be what they used for their exclusive but still contain the non-10th anniversary transfer?

I’m surprised nobody knows this because this exclusive was extremely popular and I can’t imagine collectors wanting to have only the exclusive if it contains an inferior transfer.

If you had just read the previous page of this this thread you would see someone had already asked your question and I answered it.

Also, post #1,041 you already asked the same question and were told the discs were identical by villadelrefugio

YES, this contains the remastered disc....

I honestly had no idea. It’s not like I asked to annoy you. I asked so long ago, it’s possible I never realized someone answered my question and now that I’m selling things, I figured I would ask again.

Do my posts seem like they were malicious attempts to get an answer to a question that I already knew the answer to? Sorry that I occasionally make mistakes and hopefully it didn’t bother anyone too much.

Didn't bother me at all mate.

My point is, it would help if you actually read through the thread if you have a question because 9 times out of 10 you'll probably find your answer.

I had remembered already answering that question for someone even though it was ages ago.
