Who you rootin' for?

Spurs, Thunder or Clippers would be fine by me.

Also wouldnt mind Lebron and Bosh finally getting a ring ... tho I like rootin for underdogs a bit more.

I guess I gotta ultimately go for the "retirement home" Spurs vs. the Clips since Im from Texas ... but I wouldnt be butt hurt if the Clips did come back and take the series ... but they got owned last night.

:)

Over one year no post wow.

On August 27th Darryl Dawkins died. May a few younger ninjas don't know but the buddy dunked so hard in the 70s-80s that the NBA introduced the breakaway rim what is used till today.

He played also before my time but I know him because growing up my favorite team after the fabulous Bulls was the Philadelphia 76ers because of Allen Iverson.
And Darryl Dawkins played 7 years for the 76ers.

Rest in Power!

yeah I remember him from breaking backboards. He was like a good 10 years before my time as I started watching basketball hard ever since mid 80s. Kinda funny how most those dunks in the top 20 are like nothing today. plain jane vanilla.

Yeah, but its logical. Can't compare the times. Back in the day they was doing cocaine and hookers after the games
Same situation when some younger basketball fans come and say: Yeah yeah Jordan was good okay but lets compare him to Lebron James. Or something like this.
Come on buddy MJ did it 25 years ago. You can't compare times. And even when, Jordan would beat his ass :stop::p:rolleyes: And AI also :cigar:

Well I LOVE NBA and the mighty Chicago Bulls so I'm happy to get this thread going again! Can't wait till the start of the season :)

Must admit I'd never heard of Dawkins, but damn those are some good dunks!

Aw @Bruckle I didn't received or saw the tag, sorry :(

No I don't own this. Everything I own from the Bulls only on VHS. Only "MJ: to the Max" I own on BD. Need to upgrade some :(

To get this thread going, another one is gone. And another 76er :(

Three-time MVP and NBA championship winner, legendary Moses Malone died today at the age of 60.

He holds NBA records for offensive rebounds in a career (6,731), season (587) and game (21).

Rest in Power

Yeah but who wants to watch a sports game on demand. Live is what makes it awesome. Maybe if you watched it live and re-watch it. But only on demand it is not worth the 300 bucks for me. I'm working shifts so I would miss out most of the time :(

You just have to keep your eyes off the scores during the day, and then demand is like live
