Impressive! This movie is selling like hot cakes. Japan & Korea gone! I hope I can manage to get a copy from JSDVD if it goes life in Taiwan.

Hey Rod, yeah I enjoyed the 3D for this film in the theater, but am not into it on a smaller screen at home. I do, however, completely understand why someone wants this one to have the 3D-I loved this flick! :scat:

This one is very limited print run. But easy pass for me cuz it's metalpak. Soda can printed pacific rim.

Really hate warner policy for not allowing steelbook treatment in Asia for this gorgeous movie.

Choi, is this a Warner Asia thing or a Warner korea thing? If Warner asia does that likely mean that Japan and Taiwan are to be futurepaks also? It would make sense then as amazon jp hastily removed the steelbook listing.

With man of steel and great gatsby also futurepaks, I wonder if this is the end of Warner steelbooks in the Asia region :(

Cheers

Damn...I missed out. Will this be available on k-steelbooks.com? I guess I'll have to check this section as well....

Asia thing apparently....

Such a shame. No more Warner steels from Japan, Taiwan and korea for me :(

I wonder how long before futurepaks invade the uk. I see great Gatsby Czech is futurepaks too. A worrying trend is starting to appear. Warner Asia = futurepaks and Paramount USA = metalpaks.

We'll see, but Lets hope not ric-while Steelbooks have their share of issues given the very nature of metal, these metalpak things are very flimsy. I hope it's just a test, and there will be a return to Steels sooner rather than later...

It might be a very low print run, but that's nothing too unusual for Futurepak/metalpak releases. For me, there's nothing much to recommend this one since it's very unlikely to even have a slip (as usual for Warner releases).

Such a pity Asia has turned to these inferior metalpaks as the new standard.
