Glad they kept the original amaray covers, love the artwork, i cannot wait for the release :)

I hopes for Gloss and Embossed :D

Again.. loving the front but the back looks even worse than the dead mans chest I just saw. . Needs to be enlarged to match the bordered front.i think 20 quid is a bit steep, Zavvi should knock £5 off each steel if you purchase them all.:)

@chunk, my idea to inprove the artwork.

First they change the color of the border from blue to red.

Second they use this artwork for the back. So every film have a matching front-and backcover.

Even if they left the backs blank it would be an improvement, those weird little pictures just make it look cheap. I like your idea of the skull across the backs of all the releases.. and in a perfect world they would be debossed around the edges and embossed skull and bones. If all steelbooks had put that kind of effort and money into the design and production of steelbooks, we would be parting with our money happily, I would be happy to pay premium prices for premium treatment, everytime.
Zavvi have dropped the price on these now, but the backs put me right off, even at £15.99 they're not worth buying (not worth it to me anyway).. i have to say, it was the first film I really liked, so the artwork was gonna have to be something special for me to buy them all.. and sadly, I don't think they are special in any way not even the front.. but..£6.99 and I'm in! :)

I'm a strong believer that if a retailer is going to bring another version to the market, that the new version is an improvement on its predecessors.

With these new versions I can only say that they are an affordable alternative for newer collectors, but they don't do it for me.

The crown remains with these beauties imo
