I'm so glad to see Nova going all premium on the Tarantino movies.

One of my favourite directors, but wait.......

I HATE Pulp Fiction! Christ I can hear everybody screaming st be from here! I personally thought it was pants, really didn't like it one bit and Uma Thurman really annoys me in it. Granted I haven't seen it in years, but I did watch it a couple of times, to see if I missed anything, and in my opinion, I didn't.

I have the german one, not bad, but definitely not just for such a masterpiece. I remember thinking about that Play exclusive back then in 2011 but I passed just because of those printed logos. But the poster artwork is superb. I have high hopes for Nova they will do best looking packages. Can´t wait for BS :oohyeah:

Very good memories with this movie (watched that with a nice girl over 20 years ago ;)). Never watched it again. Don't know if i still like the movie now. Maybe i jump in...time will tell

I personally don't really rate Tarantino that highly as a director. I think his movies are made more by the stellar casts he assembles as opposed to the writing or directing itself. Prime example is Pulp fiction, you've got Willis, Thurman, Jackson, Travolta and Keitel to name a few.. If you compare that to other movies he's done with lesser known names like Death Proof and their overall reception I tend to think the grade of actor in the movies make the movie and not Tarantino himself

To me Tarantino is very talented. Of course he spend his youth watching unbelievable amount of movies and big part of his work is copied and have been seen in older movies, but he still has his own highly entertaining style and sense for making movies. And of course his brilliant casts are also big part of the success, for example Reservoir Dogs, he said it himself in one of the bonuses that If he put those actors in front of white canvas he got a brilliant movie :).

And Pulp Fiction is such a fun to watch, those dialogs :oohyeah::cigar::coffee: I don´t think I will ever understand how somebody can´t like it, or even worse HATE IT :wow:EEK!o_O...but ok to each his own :)

And big lol that gif @TheCollector86 :hilarious::hilarious: exactly :D

I'm not sure if it's a director thing as much as a writing thing. I mean he does build tension very well.
His movies never win Best Picture (at the Oscars - say what you want to about awards shows) but sometimes he does take home the consolation prize for the screenplays.
