Great News
Good to have 1987 and the Reboot 2014 Version both Steelbooks

Price €31.25 EEK!

Will wait for price drop or get from Amazon as I expect this will be on general release

Seen a few trailers and the Reboot looks not that bad to me

Looking forward to seeing what the Artwork and extras will be

I Like the Artwork
Hope its Glossy as with this artwork would look great
It live to order on Zavvi £24.99 (€31.25 EEK! )
I will wait for Amazon or Zavvi price drop

Have to have this as its looks good to me even though some critics have not been favourable and that was before they seen any preview screenings
I will judge the film myself as that is what counts

Have Studiocanal ever released a glossy Steel ?

This really needs to be glossy to make that artwork shine.....:ohno:

The artwork is awesome!!! EEK!

If it goes to £18 or lower ill buy it and then i might look into buying the original Robocop steelbook

cant believe people are banging on about gloss again... is this what steelbooks have amounted to? made or broken on a coat of gloss?

i think it would be a more worthy cause to worry about content, or lack of. ie, booklets, art cards, soundtracks etc but no, just gloss it and everything is ok.

i say- gloss or no gloss you're coming with me!

A Steelbook case is a premium edition of the movie. And if I'm going to pay extra for it, I want it to be done right. There are too many cheap matte Steelbooks being churned out at inflated prices. If you want to concentrate on content audio etc...stick with your Amarays.

Incase you hadn't noticed this is a Steelbook thread.

Rant over! :p
