I would've posted this in the Play.com thread, but it's locked. Now that Zavvi are producing exclusive Steelbooks, should they release the entire Bond series in Steelbook form?

A 50th Anniversary steelbook of From Russia With Love and a Casino Royale (2006) steelbook would be a nice start this year. Followed by a 50th Anniversary steelbook of Goldfinger and 45th Anniversary edition of OHMSS next year.

I'd rather see them released in affordable waves, rather than all on the same day.

I completely agree!

I'd love to have them all as steelbooks (and all with interior artwork and different covers to the standard blu rays).

But releasing 22 (or 23 if they re-release Skyfall) steelbooks in one day would cripple me! Hahaha. Maybe 2 a month or something. It would take a while to complete the set but it would at least be possible!

And as people have said, they can then choose which titles they pick up if they don't want others.

I say no. For as long as i can think back, JB films have received the same old boring cover "art" treatment. Since these very covers seem to have some sort of nostalgic value to a lot of people, i doubt they'd ever change.

Waste of perfectly good SBs, imo.

As much as this pains me to say as I am a huge Bond fan I would have to say no. Firstly my partner would kill me and secondly I already have them all on VHS, DVD and Blu Ray 50 box set. So would rather save the money to put towards all the other seems to be daily steelbook releases.

It would be lovely to see those original posters but I was able to get the box set for a good price last year so wouldn't double dip for steel. In actual fact, when I bought the Skyfall steelbook I just put the disc in the boxset slot and sold the steel on empty (even though it's a cracker). Not much of a collector instinct but I effectively got Skyfall for free.
