But we all know "subject to change" on Zavvi means that it's never going to happen anyway.
I think I prefer the top one too.. plus spock is my favourite so I'm hoping for that one

The Spock image is extremely boring and strange choice. Would much prefer the colourful poster like the old movies.
But knowing how the majority of steel art works out with WWA releases it will be the crappy Spock art and matte.
The best Star Trek steel out of the newer films is the WEA by entertainment store with the crashing enterprise. Much better than just one random character

I'd like something that follows the formula of the first two steelbooks, with the cover featuring the enterprise.
more specifically what they did with into darkness (i.e enterprise on the front, and the starfleet insignia shape in some form. on the reverse. I used the insignia made of "light" & those things that destroy the eneterprise, found on the character posters, the cover is the only promo image used of the enterprise.

I'm hoping there's one with the poster art that looks like the original The Motion Picture poster.

The latest installment in the rebooted Star Trek is getting a UK steelbook release, and Zoom have an exclusive option, which will come with a magnetic lenticular front cover.
We’re told the artwork on the steelbook itself will be the same as the regular steelbook, and it’ll be the same price.
Release date and final art are still TBC.
