Tried all combinations - Only Avatar & Wolverine show the -30% on the item page, no 30% was taken off even when I added multiple items to basket and checked out.

The Great British Pound aka GBP or Pound (£) and Euro aka EUR (€) are two different currencies.
The total needs to come to 39 Euros, not Pounds.

FYI: £39 (Pounds) would actually be roughly €49.15 (Euros) right now.

At least, there is NO LIMIT of sum as other codes (100 €), you can overcome that amount and the maximum discount still applies.
