I also would love to get the Boxset. And to be honest, I would also like to get just black vinyl. This would fit for me for this release also.

Yep I totally agree. I don't mind getting black vinyl if it's a beautiful boxset ! After all both my TLOU and Batman TAS boxsets are Black Vinyl, and still they're probably my favorite ones in my collection

Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein's Score To The Incredible Series Gets Vinyl Release

We are over the moon to announce that the spellbinding, synth-heavy soundtrack to Netflix's 1980s-set horror smash hit Stranger Things is being released through us on physical formats in conjunction with our good friends at Lakeshore Records. Lakeshore will have their own variants.

Stranger Things LP Volume 1 LP will be released on 2 Different Vinyl Variants (see pics)
**Please note these pictures are mock-ups and colours may vary slightly in real life**
- The Mail-Order Exclusive LP Edition is pressed on 'Aquamarine with White & Black Splatter' vinyl.
- The Retail variant LP is pressed on 'Half Red Half Blue' vinyl (This version will be hitting stores in the UK, Europe, Australia, Japan & every country outside of North and South America).

Both are housed in an extra thick 425g heavyweight gatefold sleeve. A printed insert is included which features additional artwork and credits.

With its pillowy synth-pads and rich textures, the soundtrack to Volume 1 seamlessly wanders through the 80s world of Stranger Things, breeding an unthreatening serenity with a gentle shift toward a darker mood. By track 11, listeners are plunged into a nightmare before they even have time to blink; a change pulled off with uncanny grace. The score effectively taps into a unique, strange world of terror and springs it upon the audience with a considered precision. This soundtrack is instantly reminiscent of works by John Carpenter, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis, whilst also delving into the ambience of Aphex Twin and more modern composers such as Cliff Martinez.

Regarding Volume 2 and the box set containing both LPs, details are being finalised with the show, and these will be announced at a later date.

Great choice bud! I'll not double dip on vinyl because of packaging/color variant. I stopped this madness with movies, can't start now with vinyl

Really liking the blue splatter version but like most of you I can't stand that red and blue and I'm also holding out to see details on the box set. If it's too expensive then I doubt I'll have trouble picking up one of the vairiants
