I wanted one of these for my collection, but after the announced that they will release figures from the upcoming Man of Steel movie I'd rather wait.

Not to tempt you but if you end up getting it I suggest you get the one which includes the kryptonite. It's a little pricey compared to the normal version but it's worth it coz the kryptonite alone sells for almost a hundred on eBay.

H11-do you have a link to the one with kryptonite?

Ugh, missed the whole 'Kryptonite' thing...didn't even see it on the Side Show site, was it ever sold there? I REALLY want this as I am a huge fan of the original...so tempted....

Its a great fig, and its superman .... even from an antique point of view this thing will only rise in value.

you can check other retailers db.

Yeah, believe me, I need no convincing, LOL. I have always loved the original Superman, I just can't believe I missed the whole boat when I posted the thread myself, ARGH! Though I am stoked about the new film, I'll always love the others. Being a part of HDN and given my Steel and Collectibles stuff, I recently even got some Comic subs, crazy, LMAO.

Thanks, I am giggling like a school girl lol

Finally had a chance to take my 1st ever figure out of the box today-I love it! My wife helped me set him up-we had some good laughs as neither of us had ever done this before, lol. He looks awesome-I love it! :scat: As a huge fan of the original, I am so stoked to own this, woot! The light is terrible, but nevertheless.... :oohyeah:

DB that looks more like Christopher Reeves than George Reeves and they should have done the outfit in black and white. Then it would probably look more like George.
