This is the Spielberg version I imagine. I've seen the animated film with David Jason, loved it the first time I saw it as a kid. Must check this movie out.

Having grown up on his books and the original Cartoon version of this, I admit am super sceptical...just hope its a fresh take on the same story, like the Jonny Depp Willy Wonka was an alternate take

Sounds like a nice visual treat according to what I've heard, especially in 3D. This is exactly why people should do more to back 3D releases and keep the format alive & kicking.

I don't want to see 3D die. I am not bothered at all by putting on a pair of glasses for a couple hours. I still rather have 3D than a resolution bump.

"Yes" to a BFG steelbook but "No" to an IRON GIANT steelbook.
What a crazy old world we live in :(

Make the title a little bit smaller, push the BFG left by an inch maybe & she'd be a sure fire winner in my opinion.

As it stands, I do dig that artwork a lot, stuck a preorder in for this (though I haven't had a chance to see the movie yet).

The artwork looks fantastic, a gloss finish and debossed title would make it almost perfect.

Debossed title, gloss vibrant finish would be a winner.
