I don't see how shipping premium steelbooks in a plastic see-through box would help anything. I can only see it making matters worse on all fronts, I imagine they would get kicked around a little more, just because.

I think he means that the steelbook/slip would be inside the plastic case and that would then be packed into the packaging like they use now. So this would add an extra hard plastic shell to the packaging not just have the hard plastic as packaging. :)

sorry for you @satanclaus thats proper sh1t, i honestly think blufans be better off going back to wrapping them in bubble wrap at least some of the shock would be absorbed the way there getting thrown around.

got bad feeling for mine my last tracking update was back on the 16th and that was on its way to heathrow bloody long plane ride wonder how many cases be chucked on top?

Words cannot describe how beautiful the front and back lenti is in hand. ( I pity those that keep this sealed as the back lenti will forever be covered by the numbering card)

And the steelbook itself is absolutely STUNNING

Even the disc art is fantastic

one thing i'm sure is blufans boxes are not as sturdy as HDZeta, and when the boxes are not strong enough, no matter how thick the foam is, it's going to bend...
The difference in the strength of their packaging is not that big.

HDzeta shipments arrive almost every time like the box was just bought from a store, i.e., virtually no damage anywhere.

With Blufans shipments the boxes often arrive with one or more corners bashed in, deep depressions, or even completely deformed.

Somewhere along the shipping route, Blufans parcels often receive significant abuse.

As I regularly receive parcels from various countries around the world, and the only ones that are consistently and often (not always, mind you) arriving severely damaged are those from Blufans, I must conclude that the issue is somewhere close their end. Obviously Blufans themselves have nothing to do with the problem.

Some people always receive parcels from Blufans in great condition, some people receive them damaged in various degrees most of the time. For many, it's somewhere in between.

It's all about volume and chance. Even if somebody is deliberately mashing Blufans parcels at Shanghai post, they won't be able to "process" every parcel thoroughly.

Blufans does a great job in protecting the items, but I wish they'd use multiple layers of bubble plastic instead of the rigid foam enclosure, as the latter transfers heavy impacts quicker to the actual content.

Blufans packaging is pretty good. That styrofoam inner does a good job. It's the handling of them that's the problem. Somewhere along the line they're getting abused. I have not had any other packages received damaged multiple times like Blufans. There has to be a reason. If I were Blufans, I'd want to know why.

Same mom mine but it updated Friday saying it was in the country.
Can only assume ours were delayed at customs.

Considering the beatings the boxes get, adding rounds Andy rounds on both bubble wrap outside this foam and THEN boxing, might,be what is needed,
