I'd say around the 1920s to see one of the great silent films in theaters.

I would go back in time to the mid 1950's and bring a couple of the group engineers and set up a local american theatre to show The Thing that night. Only it wouldn't be Howard Hawk's version they'd get and have iphones on standby to record the audience screaming and running from the theatre and you know the point where it would happen....
