I'm assuming you meant how to spend less here on HDN and not just in general?
If I was to give advise on how to spend less on your hobby, quite simply I would say that this is a hobby and not a standard of living. To support yourself and your way of life first and foremost and then worry about the little things in life like a steelbook/futurepak/digibook here and there. Know your priorities and then set your budget for what you can afford. Don't buy out of impulse, but only what you like. Trend buying can be very expensive on a limited budget.
